The Future Appointments encounter section displays a bulleted list of any future appointments for this chart, that have already been scheduled. Future scheduled appointments cannot be managed nor edited from here. This is simply providing visibility to the chart’s future scheduled appointments.
From the dark chart demographic header, the first upcoming future scheduled appointment is also visible.
To schedule a new future appointment from within an encounter, simply scroll to the bottom of the encounter and use the Add Appt hyperlink OR from anywhere within the encounter, click the lightning bolt icon at the top right in the dark grey demographic header and Add Appt hyperlink from there.
